Action Plan To Oppose Importing Muslims

You attended one or more presentations regarding the threats imposed on us by our government. You were in a group of 100 attendeees. Dealing with that threat is not a spectator sport. Your involvement and action is necessary. If only 10 people act, this has all been a waste of time. If everyone acts, we just might get something done. Nothing in the list of action items is difficult. You can do it. Don't be the weakest link!
Talking points, sample emails and letters are provided. It doesn't matter if we all send the same message; it is the number of messages sent that counts. You can do it.

1. Lobby our Representative, Bob Goodlatte, Chairman of U.S. House Judiciary Committee
Read this first! It is about the importance of phone calls. Then choose one or more ways you will communicate your views
  • Phone his District Office in Harrisonburg, 540-432-2391 and ask that he immediately move legislation to stop importation of Muslims. Borrow anything from the "talking points" below with which you agree. The lady who answers the phone is very pleasant and will make notes on what you tell her.   She will ask for your name and address.
    • I supported the Republican Party in the recent election with the expectation that if Trump won he would have the Party's support for a moritorium on importing Muslims under refugee and asylum programs at taxpayer expense.
    • I know that Goodlatte made efforts to limit the damage done under Obama but his bills died because Obama would not sign them. Therefore I request that he immediately move legislation from the Judiciary Committee to enable Trump to fulfill his promise
    •  I reject the charge that we are religious bigots. Rather we oppose persons wedded to an ideology that is religious, political, and militaristic and has made war on non-Muslims since the 8th Century. We do not accept that non-citizens of any religion have a right to enter our country and that we, the citizens, have a right to be protected from foreign persons hostile to us. Those people should be settled in countries that support their values, i.e., rich Muslim countries, not ours with a $20 trillion debt hanging over us.
    • I request that action be taken to immediately terminate funding for the processing and settlement of  foreign Muslims. That includes termination of grants and contracts with the so-called "voluntary organization" that have a significant vested interest in keeping business going.
    • I also request reform of the legislation that requires non-citizens to receive the unreasonable and cumbersome "due process" that has tied up the ability to quickly deport illegal aliens and fraudulent asylum claimants. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is spending billions to confine people in a 4-year backlog awaiting a hearing but can't buy enough space to hold them so many of those run loose, never show up for their hearing, and disappear in our country.
    • Unless those "due process" laws are revised, in 4 years President Trump will never be able to deport even the convicted felons among the illegals because of those  procedures.

  • Present your opinion in person to Goodlatte's representative at the Front Royal Library any Wednesday between 10:00 and noon. No rep will be there in December but will resume in January.

2. Lobby the State of Virginia's Resettlement Person, Kathy Cooper, Office of Newcomer Services

•Sign and Circulate the
Petition “No Refugee Resettlement without local OK”

  • Send email to Kathy.Cooper@DSS.VA.Gov.       Kathy Cooper may not be receptive but the main effect of your email will be to stir up the Virginia Legislature.

  • Send a copy (cc) to our Senator in the Virginia Senate, mark@markobenshain.com
  • Send a copy (cc) to your Delegate in the Virginia House.  To do that
     Go to http://whosmy.virginiageneralassembly.gov/
Enter your address in upper right and click. Make note of his name and email.

  • Send a copy (cc) to the Chairman, Warren County Board of Supervisors, Lglavis@comcast.net
  • Send a blind copy (bcc) to Virginia Free Citizen,  watch@virginiafreecitizen.com

Sample Email to Kathy Cooper. Cut and paste all or anything you agree with

The result of the recent election result reflects in no small measure the disgust of citizens that the welfare of foreigners is placed before theirs by the Obama Administration.  The settlement of Muslims in Virginia in which you and the Department of Social Services are engaged is highly offensive and lacking in sensitivity to representative democracy.  It operates without the approval and oversight of our elected representatives. I understand it is your "job" but I urge you to scale back your efforts and await the guidance of the next Administration. My objection to the activity that your are coordinating is based on the following factors:
  • "Vetting" is a sick joke. Federal databases are notoriously unreliable and capable of being hacked.  In 2015, FBI Director Comey told the House Committee on Homeland Security that
“We can only query against that which we have collected,  and so if someone has never made a ripple in the pond in Syria in a way that would get their identity or their interest reflected in our database, we can query our database until the cows come home, but there will be nothing show up because we have no record of them.”
  • The way the Federal Government has bypassed the Legislature is an offence to State and local representative government. These nearly always indigent people with health and language problems are secretively dumped on State and local welfare, health, and education facilities. It is an Unfunded Mandate imposed on the State.
  • Muslims belong in Muslim countries. The rich Muslim countries are taking none while debt-ridden America is taking thousands.
  • This is not about charity or diversity or "our cultural enrichment." This is an attack on the American system and its middle class by elite ideologues.
  • I urge you to explain to me how continuation of your efforts are sensitive to the will and the welfare of Virginia citizens.  I demand that VOLAGS active in the Shenandoah Valley explain themselves. I insist on open and public meeting with plenty of time for public comments. I require VOLAGS to disclose their future plans for Warren County to the elected officials who have to balance  the budget

Type your name and full address at the bottom of your email because that will be noted by your elected representatives. Kathy Cooper may not be receptive but the main effect of your email will be to stir up are Virginia Legislature.

  • I am concerned that thousands of Middle East Muslims are in the pipeline of the process to settle them in America. President-elect Trump campaigned on the promise of a moratorium on that program but it is likely to be accelerated in the last days of the Obama Administration by persons angered at his election and who have the means and will to accelerate it. The program is funded and there are 11 major contractors with offices throughout Virginia that are engaged in the highly lucrative resettlement industry.  There are many reasons I could articulate in opposition to this program but I will give to you the one for which you must take responsibility. The Federal Government pays the contractors to settle the Muslims in local communities and provides funding while getting them established with the same rights as a citizen to public welfare, health and education benefits. Then it "pulls the plug" and the indigents become the wards of State and local taxpayers.
  • Local authorities such as Warren County are not powerless in this decision provided they know what the contractors are planning for their county.  The problem is that it is very secretive and the contractors of the Federal Government have no responsibility once they perform their tasks and cash the check.
  • If a local government doesn't have the will to resist by demanding answers from the contractors in open public meetings, at the very least  it needs to plan and budget to cover the cost of another unfunded Federal mandate.
  • I request that the Board charge the appropriate County administration staff with the task of becoming fully-informed about the Virginia Resettlement activity and keeping both the Board and the citizens aware of it.  As a starting point for one who has not been following this issue I recommend this website http://virginiafreecitizen.com/virginia-free-citizen-watch/

4. LOBBY THE BISHOP OF ARLINGTON
For necessary background information read   this  LifeSite News Report which details the extent of money Bishops are getting to do Obama's work. Also read this about a presentation at St. Ann's in Arlington that explained how Federal and Diocesan employees are misleading the public.  Please take time to read this background information or you may not understand the sample letter below.

SAMPLE LETTER: You can cut and paste as much or as little of it as expresses your opinion.

The Most Rev. Michael F. Burbidge
 Suite 914, 200 N. Glebe Rd.
 Arlington, VA  22203

Your Excellency:
Welcome to the Diocese. I regret that my greeting must also transmit a serious grievance about matters now under your administration. This grievance concerns threats to the life, health, safety, economic well-being and, ultimately, the religious liberty of Virginians. Specifically, the cause of this grievance is the secular business of subcontracting Diocesan institutions to the Obama Administration to settle Muslims in our midst. Not only are your institutions fully engaged in this destructive program but those institutions are hiding or misrepresenting the ramifications of settling Muslims in Virginia. I am asking you to stop your institution's participation. Also, I'm asking you to stop Diocesan officials from blacklisting speakers who are telling Catholics the truth.

Lay Christians are aware of the potential threat to one's safety and religious freedom that has been created in the recent decade by the Federal Government’s program to settle in the U.S. hundreds of thousands of Muslims. The potential threat has become a reality in so many cases in recent years as American-born children of Muslim “refugees” have engaged in mass murder and some U.S. cities, such as Minneapolis-St. Paul,  are already under the control of a collaborative jihadist/marxist element there.

The persons advocating the importation of Muslims are not ordinary Americans; normally they are elites of the government-media axis or executives of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) who reap big bucks as Federal contractors executing the resettlement tasks. It is self-evident that intentionally importing at tax-payer expense persons holding an ideology that has advocated killing and enslaving Christians since the 8th Century is contrary to Christian interests and the American cultural future.

Based on that self-evident fact, Catholics of good faith must certainly object to and even repudiate the role that agencies of their Church are serving as the Federal contractor reaping the most profit for resettling Muslims. This is no secret; Federal contracts or grants with groups under the United States Catholic Conference are public knowledge. What possible reason can explain the enthusiasm of Catholic Bishops to provide material cooperation to imposing on their own people hoards of those who call us infidels and have made war on us for 13 centuries?

Within the Diocese of Arlington a cloud of fog and hypocrisy has covered up this destructive activity.  For example, the copious information included in promotion of the Bishop's Lenten Appeal includes much on the work of Catholic Charities but makes no mention of its office of Migration and Refugee Services. A deep dive into the Diocesan website finds the office of Migration and Refugee Services under Catholic Charities. The explanation of the work of the Migration and Refugee Services makes no mention that it is settling Muslims. It says that "the services are made possible by grants from the Virginia Office of Newcomer Services, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and through the financial support of churches, parishes, groups, and individual donors."  The money from the Virginia Office of Newcomer Services and the USCCB is taxpayers' money provided by the Obama Administration and this has become a lucrative business totally divorced from the mission of preaching the gospel.

While the Diocese publishes nothing about its Muslim settlement business enterprise for the information of its Catholics, at least one recent example illustrates the propaganda effort of the Migration and Refugee Services Program Director, Dr. Patricia Maloof.  Dr Maloof has been in this business for years. In 2003, Maloof presented a whitewashed view of hijra and dhimmitude – Islamic precepts of colonization and subjugation of non-Muslims – in her book, Muslim Refugees in the United States: A Guide for Service Providers.  On October 17, 2016, with Anastasia Brown, Director of the Division of Refugee Services in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Refugee Resettlement, Dr. Maloof presented at St. Ann's in Arlington “Refugee Resettlement in the U.S.: A National and Local Humanitarian Response.” Persons opposing Muslim settlement attended and reported that the person who introduced the evening and speakers was Marie Powell, the former superintendent of schools in the Arlington, Diocese and the retired executive director of the Secretariat of Catholic Education for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.  The audience was told by Ms. Powell that they were “not allowed to write or blog about the event”. She didn’t say that the speakers were merely speaking off the record but that “no press coverage” was allowed. They also forbade any taping of the event.

The following announcement of the program in the St. Ann's Parish Bulletin read in part:
"Do you have questions about the need and process for resettling refugees in the United          States? St. Ann Adult Religious Enrichment Committee is hosting a presentation by two experts in the field...   We hope many of you will come and participate in this very timely program."

On the same night, October 17th, the Front Royal Catholics Civic Education Group, an unofficial parish organization of St. John's Catholic Church in Front Royal, was forced to rent the Front Royal Fire Hall for a presentation by speakers opposed to Muslim resettlement because your employee, Jeff Caruso, found " the program to be inconsistent with the Church’s approach to these issues and to reflect a misunderstanding of the process for vetting refugees."
Mr. Caruso has no idea what "vetting" is being accomplished.

Mr. Caruso forbade the Parish to give any publicity at all to the Front Royal Catholics program. .

According to Mr. Caruso "the singling out of Muslims as a security threat also reflects a bias against one religion that is at odds with the teaching of the Church which views that religion as part of God’s plan for salvation. See the Catechism:
841. The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who
acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

All of that may be true but the fact remains that Muslims have been killing and enslaving Christians as a dogma of Islam for 13 centuries.

Mr. Caruso continued:  "If you are interested in pursuing this further, one recommendation
would be to invite someone from the Diocese of Arlington Catholic Charities’ refugee
resettlement services, and/or someone from the USCCB that works in that field. They would be
familiar with the process and with the Church’s work to assist those who are fleeing violence and persecution and seeking safety for themselves and their families in the US."

Not mentioned by Mr. Caruso is the millions and millions of dollars in contracts that the USCCB and its subcontractor, the Diocese of Arlington's Catholic Charities, receives for spouting such politically correct, false, and self-destructive nonsense.

The first collection of your new office is the December 10-11 Annual Christmas Collection for Catholic Charities. The literature mentions its "immigration" services but omits mention of Muslims.

The destructive business and the associated hypocrisy are shameful to the laity.  I request that you address these abuses.

SAMPLE LETTER: You can cut and paste as much or as little of it as expresses your opinion.

The Most Rev. Francis X. DiLorenzo
 7800 Carousel Lane

Richmond, VA 23294

Your Excellency:

I write to express my deep concern with the secular business your Diocese does with the Obama Administration's program to settle Muslims in Virginia.  I ask you to stop it.

Lay Christians are aware of the potential threat to one's safety and religious freedom that has been created in the recent decade by the Federal Government ’s program to settle in the U.S. hundreds of thousands of Muslims. One gets the impression that "it is all about the money." What this business of Catholic Charities is not about is charity. We know, and you must know that over 97% is taxpayers' money ladled out to your organization.   Perhaps because bishops have no decendants the "here and now" of the cash trumps consideration of the negative cultural consequences of their business.  On the other hand, those consequences are foremost on the minds of the laity whose children will be subject to them.
